Imphal: Another bank was allegedly looted in Manipur. Miscreants looted electronic items, including computers, at a branch of Manipur State Cooperative Bank in Kangpokpi district. The market value of the looted items is around Rs 1 crore.
The incident came to light on Friday.The northeastern state has been in turmoil for more than two months. More than 150 people were killed in the clashes. In this context, the bank robbery came to light. According to news the cooperative bank’s branch in Kangpokpi was closed since May 4. According to police, the employees came to know about the theft by entering the bank three days ago.
