New Delhi: The Centre has claimed that Manipur is moving towards normalcy. But then why isn’t there a G20 event held here? Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday hit out at the BHARATIYA Janata Party (BJP).
Akhilesh was attending an event organised by an all-India media organisation. It was there that he was heard saying, “G20 events have been organised in Uttar Pradesh or other parts of the country. But why was there no event in Manipur? The BJP should organise an event there and show the world that there is no problem there. “The BJP is trying to take advantage of such events. So the team should sponsor it. Why should this be done with the government and people’s tax money?”
