London:Irish author Paul Lynch has won the 2023 Booker Prize. On Sunday, he won the award for his novel Profet Song. Five others were shortlisted along with 46-year-old Paul Lynch. Apart from Paul Lynch, there were five others for this special awards ceremony in London.

Paul Lynch is the fifth Irish writer to be honored with the award, winning the Booker Prize. Salman Rushdie, Margaret Atwood and Hilary Mantel have received the award.

“It wasn’t easy to write this book,” Lynch said as he accepted the award. After winning this year’s Booker Prize, he received 50,000 euros from the award ceremony in London. It goes without saying that after this incident, the honor, fame, and identity of this writer have all increased a lot.
