New Delhi: Who says age is a barrier to willpower? Rohan Bopanna proves age is just a number. The Indian star has become the oldest player to become world number one in tennis doubles. Writing his name in history, he said, “I am not sunk yet. ”

Bopanna is teaming up with Matthew Ebdgen at the Australian Open. And by reaching the semi-finals of the men’s doubles, he became the owner of a new record. At the age of 43, he became the first player in the world to top the men’s doubles rankings. He started from number three in the tournament. He improved his ranking by reaching the last four. Bopanna and Mathew defeated Argentina’s Maximo Gonzalez and Andrea Molteni in the quarterfinals.
