New Delhi: A horrific road accident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Kasganj. At least 15 pilgrims, including seven children, were killed. Many people have been admitted to the hospital with serious injuries.
The villagers were travelling on a tractor to take a dip in the Ganga in Haridwar on the occasion of Maghi Purnima. On the way to Kadarganj, the tractor suddenly lost control and fell into a pond in Kasganj. Shalabh Mathur of Aliganj range confirmed the accident and said most of the dead were children and women. The driver of the tractor lost control while trying to avoid a collision with a car. Immediately it overturned and fell into the muddy pond.
