Himachal Pradesh minister resigns, 15 MLAs expelled

New Delhi: There was a possibility. And with that possibility, the ‘drama’ started from Wednesday morning in Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, state minister Vikramaditya Singh has resigned over allegations against Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. As soon as the budget session began, BJP MLAs started raising slogans. Following this, the Speaker expelled 15 MLAs.

Several BJP MLAs entered the Speaker’s chamber and shouted slogans. Following this, Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania ordered their expulsion. Leader of Opposition and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur is one of the expelled MLAs. Randhir Sharma, Bipin Kumar Parmar, Hans Raj, Vinod Kumar and 14 others have also been expelled.
