New Delhi: Indeed, an era seems to have come to an end. Dr Manmohan Singh retires as Rajya Sabha MP. Maybe it’s a reminder of his political career as well. Because the chances of Dr Manmohan Singh, who is old, will be in active politics again are slim. The Congress has termed the retirement of former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh, who gave the country a taste of free trade, as the end of an era. Dr. Manmohan Singh, former and thirteenth Prime Minister of India, is famous as an accomplished economist. Manmohan Singh was born on September 26, 1932 in Gah (now in Punjab, Pakistan). He came to Amritsar in India during partition in 1947 and studied at The Hindu College there.

Due to his passion and perseverance towards studies, Manmohan Sat was able to receive a doctorate degree from Oxford University in England.
