New Delhi: The Maoists were closed for 21 years. The Maoists also wanted to reduce the Ram temple to dust. Finally, the doors of the Ram temple were opened just before Ram Navami. Local devotees have again gathered at the Ram temple in Sukma, Chhattisgarh. The worship resumed after cleaning the idol.

The area was once a Maoist stronghold. From high-level secret meetings to the movement of secure corridors, all the activities of the Maoists have taken place in the vicinity of this temple. That is why the Ram temple in Kerala has been closed. At one time, the Maoists ordered not to cross the edge of the temple around which the fair was held. Since 2003, no one from the village has been able to enter the temple. Only one villager used to light a lamp in front of the temple every day. In 2010, 76 jawans were killed just 10 km from this village. In 2021, the area adjacent to the village was bloodied.
