Rajeev Kumar gets Z-category security

New Delhi: Security has been beefed up for Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. From now on, he will get Z-category security of the center. According to an all-India media source on Tuesday, there is a possibility of attack on him. Hence this step. This apprehension has been reported from various intelligence sources in the country.

Just a few more days. The Lok Sabha elections 2024 will begin on April 19. Just before that, the security of the Chief Election Commissioner was increased. Wherever Rajiv Kumar goes across the country, he will be accompanied by a special team of 40-45 CRPF personnel. In fact, since there is a threat, the Centre does not want to leave any gap in his security. It is learnt that 12 commandos will be on duty in three shifts. An additional 2 people will be in charge of monitoring. Meanwhile, three drivers, who are specially trained, will be kept on standby.
