New Delhi: The wait is over. Ram Navami is being celebrated at the newly built Ram temple in Ayodhya, ending a 500-year-old dispute. On the auspicious occasion of Ram’s birthday, the sun lit up Ramlala’s forehead. The whole world is witnessing.

The process of sunbathing started at 11:58 am today. Until 12:03 p.m. Pictures and videos of that unprecedented moment spread on social media. Surya kissed Ram Lalla’s forehead in a completely scientific way.
Scientists at IIT Roorkee developed a special opto-mechanical system for Surya Tilak. A little before 12 noon, when sunlight fell on a mirror installed on the upper floor of the temple, it was reflected through a pipe at exactly 90 degrees and came to Ramlala’s forehead. A second mirror is placed at the other end of the tube. This mirror is used to reflect the sun’s rays again. It is then reflected back to 90 degrees with the help of a brass tube. The size of this Surya Tilak is 75 mm.
