ED seizes Rs 25 crore notes at Jharkhand minister’s secretary’s attendant’s house

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized Rs 25 crore in a raid at the residence of an attendant of a Jharkhand minister’s secretary. ED officials started raiding various places in Ranchi from Monday morning. The house of Sanjeev Lal, personal secretary to Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam, was also raided. According to ED sources, Rs 25 crore has been recovered from the house of the attendant.

The ED suspects it to be linked to the money laundering case. On Monday morning, ED officials raided Sanjeev’s attendant’s house and recovered Rs 25 crore. According to the ED, Sanjeev’s name was involved in the money laundering case of Rural Development Department Chief Engineer Virendra K Ram. With that connection, the operation started on Monday morning
