The Boeing Starliner landed at White Sands Space Harbor in New Mexico at 9:31 a.m. Saturday. The landing was broadcast live by the US space agency NASA. Note that Sunita and Butch Wilmore left for the space station on June 5 in this capsule. But for various reasons, they are trapped in the space station. The private spacecraft Starliner entered Earth’s atmosphere at 8.58 am on Saturday. After that, it takes another 44 minutes to touch the ground. The 3 parachutes are then opened one by one. So that it can slowly touch the ground without any accident. According to scientists, the entire process of descending from space to Earth takes a total of six hours. But even though the vehicle returned to Earth, Sunita remained stuck in space for the time being. They are expected to return to Earth by February next year.

Sunita and Butch went into space on June 5 in a Boeing Starliner capsule. Their destination was the International Space Station. It was said that they would complete the work in 8 days and return to Earth. But in the meantime, the plan came to a halt when a malfunction was detected in the Starliner. It was found that the spacecraft’s thrusters were not working. Helium gas is leaking. The two astronauts decided not to return to Earth in such circumstances.

The two astronauts said goodbye to the Starliner on Friday. They gave this message, ‘Take the Starliner back to Earth. All the best.” The Starliner finally returns to Earth, leaving Sunita and Butch in space. NASA, meanwhile, plans to send a vehicle from Elon Musk’s company SpaceX to bring Sunita and Butch back to Earth in February. Until then, these two American astronauts, Sunita and Butch, will continue their research in space.
