Assam native man drowned by coworkers at Koyilandy beach in Kerala

Guwahati: A man was killed amid a brawl that broke out between Assam natives at Koyilandy beach in Kerala’s Kozhikode district on Tuesday.

According to sources, the deceased has been identified as Dulu Rajavamsi.

The incident place when the three Assam natives got into a verbal argument, which led to the incident, sources added.

As per official, two suspects were identified as Manoranjan and Lakshmi allegedly strangled Dulu with a belt before he drowned in the sea.

Meanwhile, officials also suspected that accused might have used psychotropic drugs before to the incident,

Following the incident police arrested both the accused.

The deceased body has been recovered and taken to Koyilandy Taluk Hospital.

Further investigation has currently underway, official added.
