Pakistan’s new Army Chief Asim Munir has spewed venom for India

New Delhi:Former ISI chief General Asim Munir has been appointed as the new Army chief of Pakistan. He replaces General Qamar Javed Bajwa.Pakistan’s newly appointed Army Chief (COAS) General Asim Munir has spewed venom against India. General Asim Munir on Saturday (December 3) made a provocative statement, saying that India will never succeed in its nefarious designs and any misadventure will be given a befitting reply.

According to the pakistan army’s media wing, the army chief visited the border areas in Rakhchikri sector of the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday and made these remarks during his interaction with troops.General Asim Munir was briefed about the latest situation along the LoC. Interacting with officers and soldiers, the Army chief complimented the soldiers for performing their duties in challenging circumstances. Gen Asim said he has recently taken note of the “irresponsible” statements made by the Indian leadership on Gilgit, Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

“Let me make it clear that Pakistan’s armed forces are ready not only to defend every inch of our motherland, but also to fight any war against the enemy. He said that India will never be able to fulfill its nefarious designs. The world must ensure justice and fulfil what has been promised to the Kashmiri people as per the UN resolutions. Previously, Corps on arrival Commander Rawalpindi Lt Gen Shahid Imtiaz received the Army Chief, with former ISI chief General Asim Munir replacing General Qamar Javed Bajwa. He retired after serving as Pakistan’s army chief on November 29.
