New Delhi:The ODI World Cup, which started in October this year, was informed earlier. And on Tuesday, the possible date came out in the open. If all goes well, the ODI World Cup 2023 will begin on October 5 in India. The final could take place on November 19. A total of 12 venues have been initially selected for this. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will have to pay a huge amount of tax to the Centre for allowing the tournament to be held.

It is heard that this time 10 teams will take part in the main phase. A total of 48 matches will be held in different parts of the country for 46 days. Mega The final of the tournament is scheduled to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Eleven venues have also been selected. They are Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamsala, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore, Rajkot and Mumbai. However, there is no word from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on which matches will be held anywhere or in which city the warm-up match will be held.

Usually, the ICC announces the date one year before the start of a tournament. But this time the BCCI was about getting multiple clearances from the Modi government. That’s why the schedule has not been announced yet. The main among them is tax exemption and getting visas for Pakistani cricketers. The last time Pakistan came to India was in 2013. So the Indian board will have to burn a lot of wood to get their visas.
