Girls were earlier married at the age of 14-15 years, gave birth at the age of 17: Gujarat High Court

New Delhi: The Gujarat High Court made a special observation. A minor girl who was raped. The minor is now seven months pregnant. Her father had moved the Gujarat High Court seeking permission for the minor’s abortion.

But the court has not directly given permission to the minor to fall a pregnancy. The bench of the court said that in the past, girls were married at the age of 14-15 years and became mothers at the age of 17. The Gujarat High Court will, however, hear the entire matter on June 15 and take a decision on the matter.
