Guwahati : CM Himata Himanta Biswa Sarma clarifies that Major cabinet reshuffle will be done after Lok Sabha elections.CM Sarma made his statement regarding cabinet reshuffle in New Delhi.CM also said that State BJP president will not be changed without completion of term.Chief Minister commented on Delhi floods also.He takes jibe on CM Arvind Kejriwal, says, “I am waiting for that invitation to come to me (CM Kejriwal’s invitation to Himanta Biswa Sarma to visit Delhi), now it has been 6 months, till now nothing has come.”CM said “I had been waiting for six months to travel Delhi, but have not received an invitation so far.”Chief Minister met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday.
He thanked the Home Minister for granting 360 crore funds in the name of floods and others.CM Himata Himanta Biswa Sarma also met Delhi Lt Governor and sought land for Assam’s cultural project in Delhi . He also inspected the installation site of Statue of Lachit Borphukan in Delhi . CM met Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav on Saturday and discussed 1 crore saplings plantation on 2nd October.CM later tweeted ” Under Hon PM’s Mission LiFE, we will soon power our Agri economy by planting 1 cr saplings on a single day. To ensure that this effort becomes a massive success, I sought guidance of Shri @byadavbjp ji, Hon Union Minister for Environment and true champion of a green economy.”
