New Delhi: Chandrayaan-3, built by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), is closer to the dream. It’s still waiting to set foot on the lunar surface. But before that, the moon was seen. The same scene was posted by ISRO on social media on Sunday.
What is the shape of the moon in Chandrayaan-3’s camera? That’s what’s out now. ISRO has posted a 45-second video. That’s where the moon looks like a gray sphere. It’s a huge lunar surface. Quite obvious large cavities, too. Releasing the video on the X handle (twitter’s current name), ISRO wrote, “This is what the moon looked like from chandrayaan-3 spacecraft when it entered the lunar orbit on August 5. ”On Saturday evening, the spacecraft crossed the earth’s illusion and entered the ‘land’ of the moon. Chandrayaan also sent a message to the Indian Space Research Organization with good news. It says it can feel the moon’s gravitational force. That’s when the scene was captured. This was released by ISRO on Sunday.
On July 14, the third Chandrayaan took off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. Since then, he has successfully gone through every step of the journey. But the biggest test is to land Pragyan safely on the moon. For this, the speed of the spacecraft will be reduced step by step first. This is called lunar bound maneuver number or LBN. After this, the work of the lander module will start. The first thing he needed was to enter the moon’s orbit. India’s spacecraft has completed the much-awaited task successfully.
