New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Friday dismissed a petition challenging Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo will remain in jail. He has been remanded to judicial custody till April 15. Opposing Kejriwal’s plea, the ED told the court that the law is equal for all. There is no difference between a chief minister and an aam aadmi.
Kejriwal had earlier said there was no evidence against him. Yet, the ED is forcibly implicating him in the excise corruption case. It is said that he is the ‘kingpin’ of this scandal. In this situation, a petition was filed challenging the arrest, which was dismissed today.
