New Delhi: Simultaneous case against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Delhi High Court. Behind this rare incident, a case was filed against Modi-Rahul for allegedly defaming the Adani group in the electoral campaign of the Lok Sabha polls.
Surjit Singh Yadav filed the case against Rahul and Modi in the Delhi High Court. He identified himself as a farmer and an investor in the stock market. Surjeet claimed that the market value of Adani group is being affected due to the statements of top BJP and Congress leaders. Investors will suffer as a result. The petitioner alleged that Rahul’s statement regarding the Adani group was distorted. Investors are getting confused due to this. Almost similar allegations are against Modi. Modi attended a rally in Telangana last month. He attacked Rahul there. He raised the question, why did the Rahuls become silent overnight after talking about Adani Ambani for five years? One step further, his question was, after the election, did he also take money from these businessmen? On the other hand, Rahul has repeatedly attacked Modi for giving benefits to the Adani group. In this mudslinging, the investors in Adani Group are ultimately losing, that is the claim of the litigant.
