Sri Sri Rundra Maha Yagya- Kameshwari Maha Aradhana concluded at Khanapara

The eight-day Sri Sri Rundra Maha Yagya and Kameswari Maha Aaradhana held at Khanapara in the city concluded successfully on September 17.

Guwahati:The eight-day Sri Sri Rundra Maha Yagya and Kameswari Maha Aaradhana held at Khanapara in the city concluded successfully on September 17. On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday , people prayed that God would strengthen Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma for further development of the country and the state. On PM Narendra Modi’s birthday, prayers were offered for his good health and longevity at the Yagya .


The eight-day Yajna concluded with Vedic rituals on Tuesday and was immersed at Uma Nanda Ghat in the evening.It is worth mentioning that from the beginning to the end of this yagya, countless devotees and Vaishnava scholars of the country participate. In particular, Govardhan Puri Pithadhishwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya, Swami Sri Adhokshjananda Devatirtha Ji Maharaj as well as litterateurs, educationists and Vaishnava scholars from different parts of the country. Chief Organiser Ratul Sharma said that lakhs of devotees from the state and outside the state along with Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla gathered on the last day of this Mahayagya and Kameshwari MahaAardhana. Innumerable saints offered prayers for world peace at this Rudra Yagya and Kameshwari MahaAardhana held at the Khanapara Veterinary College ground from September 9 to September 16. Assam Governor Laxman Prasad Acharya and Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma ,Union Minister Pabitra Margherita, Ministers Pijush Hazarika, Jayanta Malla Baruah, Sanjay Kishan, Nandita Garlosa, Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh along with several MLAs, MPs and workers of the BJP party participated the yogya.


It is to be noted that for the first time in the North-East, Shri Sri Rudra Mahayagya and Kameshwari Maha Aaradhana ceremony were held at Khanapara. It is to be noted that on September 9, renowned actors Pranjal Saikia, Siddharth Goswami , Kinkini Bhattacharya, Bhranti Medhi, etc. participate in the Jal Yatra. Every evening bhajans, dance and songs were performed .Singers Tarali Sharma, Kallol Borthakur, Subasana Dutta, Sandhya Menon, Vidyasagar, Sangeeta Kakati, Sangeeta Borthakur, were present in various cultural events.. Everyone hopes that Sri Sri Rundra Mahayagya – Kameshwari Maha Aradhana will bring down the flow of peace to the entire country including Assam.
