A suspected drug dealer was arrested by the police in Tripura’s South district along with 10 grammes of suspected heroin.
The Belonia Police apprehended the suspect in the Amjad Nagar area.
The police learned on Tuesday night that there was illegal activity going on at Abdul Rob’s residence in Amjad Nagar.
Based on that information, a search operation was conducted at the house.
During the raid, the police managed to recover at least 10 grams of heroin.
Abdul Rob, the owner of the house, was taken into custody by the police right away after the recovery and taken to the police station in Belonia.
A case has been taken up against Abdul Bar under the NDPS Act, said police.
