Gold medalist in Hemar’s throw in South Korea Manomohan Das accorded warm welcome

Hajo:- Manomohan Das, a young athlete from Moamari, Kulhati under Hajo revenue circle in Kamrup district, has been able to bring laurels to the pilgrim town of Hajo by representing India in Hemar Throw at the Asia Pacific Masters Games held in South Korea. Hajo Mahakuma Krira Unnoyon Parishod brought a huge influx from Barjhar airport to Damdama Higher Secondary School ground. Various groups and organizations including Hajo Mahakuma Krira Unnoyon Parishod , Damdama Sports Association, Damdama AASU, Kulhati Sahitya Manch, Moamari Diamond Club feliciated Manomohan Das with ‘sharai’, ‘phulam gamosa’, letter of appreciation and bouquet of flowers. On the occasion, President of Hajo Mahakuma Krira Unnoyon Parishod Kanak Das, former President and Sports Pensioners Basudev Thakuria, Deep Lahakar, Govinda Malakar, Dimbeswar Das lauded the achievements of the athlete. Notably, young athlete Manomohan Das represented India at the 2019 Europe Masters Games . Meanwhile, a delegation, including President Ratul Sharma and Secretary Dipankar Majumdar of the Golden Jubilee Festival Celebration Committee of Hajo Sports Association reached the residence of the player at Kulhati Moamari and congratulated him with phulam gamosa, sharai and japi.
