Guwahati:Sports minister Nandita Garlosa handed over a cheque of Rs 4 lakh to injured footballer Alean Deori on Monday.Allen Deori, who was recently injured required higher treatment.For his help sports minister Nandita Garlosa handed over the cheque on behalf of the Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. She was accompanied by Gitarth Goswami, Member Secretary of The Student and Youth Welfare Advisory Committee and Kausar J. Hilali Baria, Member Secretary, Student and Youth Welfare Advisory Committee, Kausar J. Hilali .Sports minister Garlosa assured the athlete to extend full support from the Government of Assam for his surgery.

Football star Allen Deori who took to the field and showed the magic of his feet has recently become in a state of disrepair. The deuri who sustained injuries on the body now needs surgery and better treatment. It is learnt that he is already preparing to go out of the state for treatment. But the player does not have enough money to go out and get treatment done. At the same time, the state government has extended a helping hand to Deori. Gitartha Goswami, member secretary of the Students and Youth Welfare Advisory Committee, said yesterday that the government will help the player.
