New Delhi: The consequences of insulting Sanatan Dharma will be found. Former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad has cited Sanatan Dharma as the reason behind the BJP’s huge success in the assembly elections in three states. A few days ago, Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin had called for the abolition of Sanatan Dharma. Controversy began across the country surrounding the remarks. Udhayanidhi also received a notice from the Supreme Court.

Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has made huge gains in three states. The saffron party is going to form the government in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The BJP has won Madhya Pradesh five times in a row. In Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, it has regained power by defeating the Congress. The Congress is on its way to victory only in Telangana. Many experts believe that the Sanatan Dharma controversy has played some role in this success of the saffron camp.
