Guwahati: Soon after landing at Mizoram’s Lengpui Airport, a Myanmar military aircraft broke down. At least eight people were seriously injured in the plane crash.
It is learnt that the military aircraft had arrived from Myanmar to Mizoram last week to take the soldiers who had crossed the Indo-Myanmar border and entered Mizoram by air to their country. But the plane lost control soon after landing and crashed. Eight of the 13 crew members on board the plane were injured in the crash.
