New Delhi: A 500-year-old dargah has now become a symbol of religious unity. Not only Muslims but also Hindus bow their heads in this dargah. Located in the heart of Delhi, the name of this dargah is the dargah of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya. The dargah is located in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area, where many people from across the country come to offer prayers every day. Syed Muhammad Nizamuddin Auliya is considered one of india’s most famous Sufi saints.

Syed Muhammad Nizamuddin Auliya is also known as Hazrat Nizamuddin and Mahbub-i-Ilahi (Beloved of God). He was a Sunni Muslim scholar and a Chishti Sufi saint. Like most Chishti Sufi saints, Nizamuddin Auliya too stressed on love as a way to realize Allah. He believed that humanity lies in the love of Allah.
