Delhi CM Kejriwal released from ED custody, ent to Tihar jail

New Delhi: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Arvind Kejriwal’s discomfort has increased. He was sent to 15-day judicial custody by a Delhi court in connection with the excise scam. The central probe agency did not want to keep the Delhi Chief Minister in its custody. So the court sent the AAP supremo to jail.


The then Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was earlier arrested in the excise scam case. Now Kejriwal will have to win on the other side of the bar. He will be sent to Tihar Jail. However, the Delhi Chief Minister will be able to meet his wife Sunita and two Delhi ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj before going to jail. Kejriwal ran the government from ED custody after his arrest. Will he be able to run the government from jail?
