3 Maoists killed in encounter in Bijapur

New Delhi: The administration has come down to the waist to free Chhattisgarh from Maoists. Three Maoists were killed in an encounter with joint forces in Bijapur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, police said. A senior police officer said.


Greyhound, an anti-Naxal force in the state, was conducting searches in the Pujari Kankar forest near the Telangana border. They were accompanied by the Chhattisgarh Police Force. After this, the Maoists started firing with them. Three Maoists were killed in the encounter. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the spot. The forces are still searching the area till the last reports are received.
