CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma attends massive election rallies in Titabar, Morioni and Nazira

Guwahati:On behalf of Tapan Kumar Gogoi, the BJP candidate of the Jorhat Lok Sabha constituency of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today participated in a massive election rally held at Bokahla Tea Garden ground in Titabor .
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that everyone has accepted that Narendra Modi will be in the prime minister’s post for the third time.

Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working for the development of India since 2014, the Chief Minister said that everyone has seen the Prime Minister’s love for Assam. A few days ago, the Prime Minister came to Jorhat and unveiled the 145-feet tall statue of Lachit Borphukan . Spending the night in Kaziranga, the Prime Minister once again presented Kaziranga, the national treasure of Assam, in front of the world. The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister always wears the Assamese Gamosa around his neck. Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Narasimha Rao became the Prime Ministers, but none of them wore an Assamese gamosa around their necks. CM also sad that the Assamese gamosa gave courage and inspiration to Narendra Modi. He said the Congress prime ministers never took the Assamese gamosa around their necks. The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has given Bharat Ratna to Dr. Bhupen Hazarika and he has come to Assam 26 times. The Chief Minister said that he had never seen the Prime Minister of India who loved Assam and worked for Assam like Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister said that he would continue to work for the development of Titabar constituency. CM said that the problem of drinking water in Titabar will be resolved for all time. A flyover will be constructed at the outskirts of Titabar . The Chief Minister urged the people to strengthen the hand of the Prime Minister by electing Tapan Kumar Gogoi, the candidate of Jorhat Lok Sabha constituency.
Today’s meeting was attended by minister Ajanta Neog, MP Pallab Lochan Das, district BJP president Hemant Kalita, former MLA Rana Goswami, Titabar District Tea Mazdoor Sangh president Bagai Bhumij and office-bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance.

On his arrival at Mariani, the people welcomed Cm by jhumur dance, missing bihu dance . He then participated in a massive election rally held at Seleng Ghat. Addressing a gathering at The Madhya Naksari High School ground in Selang Ghat the Chief Minister said that the construction work of Mariani Law College is in the final stages and the permanent campus of the Women’s University is under construction. Stating that the government has provided adequate assistance to the Auniati Spiritual University, he said that the construction of a new college has started at Seleng Ghat and five new Model Higher Secondary Schools have been started in tea gardens. He added that the wages of tea garden workers have been increased from Rs 135 to Rs 152.
Today’s meeting was attended by MP Pallab Lochan Das, MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi, Asom Gana Parishad leaders Bikas Saikia, Shantanu Gogoi and other BJP leaders .
Addressing a meeting held at Mejenga School ground in Nazira, the Chief Minister said that due to the double engine government, today the poor people have been able to get rice, Covid vaccine. Today, a new horizon of progress has emerged in front of everyone across Assam. The Chief Minister said that the government is taking Assam forward with the confidence of the people.
