New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday campaigned in Muslim-dominated areas of Uttar Pradesh. In his address, Modi said Muslim women will continue to bless him for centuries. Modi said that Muslim women will continue to bless many Muslim women for bringing smiles back on their faces by abolishing systems like triple talaq.
Addressing an election rally in Saharanpur, which is dominated by muslims, Prime Minister Modi said that real secularism is when everyone, irrespective of their caste and religion, can get the benefit of government welfare schemes. Which seems to have happened during the BJP rule. “The BJP government has put an end to the evil practice of triple talaq. We have enacted a strong law in the interest of crores of Muslim sisters and protected their families”.
