New Delhi: A car accident occurred on the way back after offering prayers at the temple. Seven members of a family were burnt to death in a car fire. The deceased included two children and three women. The incident took place in Rajasthan’s Sikar district on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased were residents of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. They were returning home after offering prayers at the Balaji temple in Salasar in Rajasthan. According to police, the car was speeding on the highway. While overtaking a truck on the way, the driver tried to avoid a car coming from the opposite direction. But the car lost control and collided head-on with another truck. The car immediately caught fire. As a result, seven members of the same family were burnt to death.
