Rahul got bail on the bond given by DK Suresh, the brother of Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. What exactly is the complaint against the former president of Congress? Campaigning ahead of the Karnataka assembly elections in May 2023, Rahul had alleged that the ruling BJP government was charging 40 per cent commission for government work. Rahul also mocked the government of Basraj Bombay as a government of 40 percent. BJP general secretary Keshav Prasad went to court against the Congress leader’s claim. In that case, Rahul was ordered to appear in a special court in Bangalore on Friday. The lower court of Karnataka granted bail to Rahul on his appearance. The next hearing of this case is on July 30.Besides Rahul Gandhi, the BJP also filed a case against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. However, the two leaders appeared before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate on June 1. Bail was granted in the case on the same day.
