Arunachal: Massive fire breaks out in Itanagar’s forest colony
Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in the Forest colony of Naharlagun in Arunachal Pradesh’s Itanagar, said officials on Monday.
At least 15 rooms of the rented Kutcha house unit and properties worth lakhs along with several important documents completely burnt, said sources.
However, no casualties have been reported in the incident so far, the officials informed.
After receiving the information, the fire tenders rushed to the spot and successfully manage to control its spread with the help of the personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and locals there.
Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
