Five youths, including a girl injected drugs into their bodies while sheltering under a store’s roof in Guwahati on Monday night while it was raining amidst Diwali celebrations.
The incident was captured in CCTV camera of the shop which was closed during that time. According to sources, the incident reportedly took place at Hatigaon’s Sewali Path.
Youths were seen helping each other inject drugs into each other’s bodies in the CCTV clip.
Guwahati and areas of Assam are seeing light rainfall as a result of Cyclone Sitrang.
However, it did not deter drug users from finding shelter on the side of the road so they could inject drugs.
