Mini-secretariat in Barak will be completed before 2026 assembly elections: CM

Guwahati: The Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took part in election rally in Sichar. Today Parimal Suklabaidya, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Silchar Lok Sabha constituency, officially filed his nomination papers in presence of CM Sarma. The event was marked by a show of unity and support from party members including Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam BJP President Bhabesh Kalita, Silchar MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy and BJP Assam Pradesh Sah Prabhari Pawan Sarma.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the work on the East-West Corridor will be completed before the 2026 assembly elections. He also said that the work of mini-secretariat in Barak will be completed before the upcoming assembly elections. The Chief Minister said that the state government would make efforts to set up big industries for five villages in the same way that big industries have been brought in Jagiroad.Today’s meeting was attended by Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance candidate parimal Suklabaidya from Silchar Lok Sabha constituency, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Assam state president and MLA Bhavesh Kalita, MP Dr Rajdeep Rai, MLAs Dwipayan Chakraborty, Kaushik Roy, Mihir Kanti Som, Bharatiya Janata Party’s co-in-charge Pawan Sharma, Cachar district BJP president Bimalendu Roy. Later, the Chief Minister reached Karimganj district and attended a massive election meeting to be held later on while filing the nomination papers of Kripanath Malla, the alliance candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Karimganj Lok Sabha constituency. The Chief Minister said that Karimganj district of Barak Valley has been able to move forward in terms of development along with other districts of Assam during the tenure of the present Central Government and The State Government. Once upon a time, the roads and infrastructure of this district were poor, he said, adding that many schemes have been taken for the development of the district. These schemes provide people at all levels.He says he has been able to benefited.Today’s meeting was attended by Bharatiya Janata Party state president Bhavesh Kalita, alliance candidate Kripanath Malla, MLAs Vijay Malakar, Krishnendu Pal, Kaushik Roy, Karimganj district BJP president Subrata Bhattacharya, among others.Participating in an executive conference at Hailakandi Rabindra Bhavan, the Chief Minister said that the popular leader of the world and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will occupy the position of The Prime Minister of the country for the third time. He said there are BJP-led governments at the Centre and in the state. The pace of development will be faster if the BJP MP is elected from Karimganj Lok Sabha constituency. Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance candidate Kripanath Malla wins Karimganj Lok Sabha seat Huxle Hailakandi to build a medical collegeHe says it will be done. The Chief Minister said that a lot of development work has been done in Barak Valley and Its continuity will remain intact. The Chief Minister appealed to the people to make Kripanath Malla win by a huge margin.Today’s meeting was attended by Bharatiya Janata Party’s Hailakandi district committee president Swapan Bhattacharya, MLAs Kaushik Roy, Krishnendu Pal, Vijay Malakar and office-bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance.
