New Delhi: 400 years ago, Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi were worshipped in Haryana. Archaeologists have found evidence of this. The shocking news came from Haryana’s cyber city Gurugram. Here, during the excavation of land for construction work in Baghnaki village of Manesar, idols of Lord Vishnu lying in yoga nidra, holding Sudarshan Chakra and Mata Lakshmi have been found.
A total of three statues were found today. All the three idols have now been handed over to the Archaeological Survey of Chandigarh. After examining the idols, officials of the concerned department said that these three idols are about 400 years old.
