Assam CM, Himanta Biswa Sarma made an official announcement for the distribution of scooters to the students of Higher Secondary Final Examination Kamrup and Kamrup (Metropolitan) Districts Dr. Vanikant Kakti, meritorious academician securing marks above 75% and above 60%.
Speaking on the ocassion, he said that it is an effort to create a conducive environment for the academic performance of our state's students The entire state has 6,052 people under this distribution boys and 29,748 people of girls have been considered eligible for this benefit distribution. The academic journey of these distribution schools fulfills the expectations of all the students. I believe it will be encouraged. I extend my best wishes to each and every meritorious student for their future lives.
The event was graced by Dr. Ronoj Pegu, ShriChandra Mohan Patowary and Shri Atul Bora, Hon'ble Advisor, Department of Education, Government of Assam Dr. Nanigopal Mahanta, Hon'ble MLA Shri Manav Deka, Hon'ble Chairman of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council Shri Rukm Gohain Baruah and senior officers of the State Government were also present.
