Major reshuffle in BJP, Ex-Cong leader Amarinder Singh and Sunil Jakhar appointed as members of national executive

New Delhi: In a major reshuffle the rulling party at centre BJP appointed ex-Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh and Sunil Jakhar and former Uttar Pradesh president Swatantra Dev Singh as members of its national executive. The party also has appointed former Congress spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill as national spokesperson. . Madan Kaushik, Vishnu Deo Sai, Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, Manoranjan Kalia and Amanjot Kaur Ramoowalia have been made special invitees to the national executive, the party said in statement.It is noteworth that Shergill, lawyer in the Supreme Court of India, was the youngest national spokesperson for the Indian National Congress .

He graduated from West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (Kolkata) and started to practice law in Delhi. He also studied masters degree in law in UC Berkeley School of Law, University of California.He was the Co-Chairman of the Legal Cell of Congress’s Punjab unit.
