Two years after the funeral, a young man ‘dead’ of Covid returns home! Police want to take statements of survivors

New Delhi: A youth from Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district was declared brought dead by doctors at a hospital in Gujarat after he tested positive for Covid-19. His body was taken from the hospital and cremated by his family members. But on Saturday, almost two years later, the “dead” young man returned home. Where was he for those two years? What’s the real story? Police are investigating to find answers to these questions. They believe the whole incident will become clear only after hearing the statement of the ‘deceased’.’

Mukesh Patidar, cousin of the 35-year-old man, spoke to the media on Sunday. He said Kamlesh went to a relative’s house around 6 am on Saturday. Two years later, his family members were shocked to see him alive.
